EEH After School Program

EEH opened it's doors in 2001 in a small house in Omihachiman, Shiga. Since then we have focussed on providing our students with a comfortable, caring environment where they can learn to communicate in English.

From Toddler to Upper Elementary, our curriculum is designed to challenge our students in a fun, engaging way.  With lots of online resources as well as a large English book library, there are many opportunities for students to learn at their own pace with their own interests.  We believe this is the best way to learn to communicate in a new language. 

We also offer an English-ONLY After School on Mondays for our students.  This program allows our students to interact with others in a safe, English-only environment.  The time is loosely structured, with a story/snack time, free play time, quite play time, task-based lesson time, video or game time as well as park play!  This program has proven to give our students a wonderful opportunity to interact with staff and fellow students in a relaxed environment and we've seen a tremendous improvement in their English!
